Acetylene - combined with Oxygen - produces a flame with a higher temperature and a higher concentration of heat, which enables faster cuts and optimum finishing.
The Oxi-cut allows good results at a relatively low cost in cutting sheets of different thicknesses. The Oxi-Cut is the most used in carbon steel and low alloy, guarantees a good drilling, speed and good quality of cut, also allowing to produce cuts in V, Y and K.
Laser cutting is a fast and quiet process, ideal for thin metal sheets or other materials, such as wood, plastic, glass and ceramics, with minimal waste and no distortion. When using the laser, one has a cut of high level of precision. The laser light can be directed between 50mm and 0.2mm, the laser radiation is high energy, the power density being very high, allowing a high cut quality, perfect metallurgical surfaces.
Arc plasma cutting produces high quality cuts, being extremely productive in materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, copper, carbon steel and low alloy. The advantages of plasma are: higher cutting speed, when cut thin metal plates, compared to oxygen, allows to cut sheet thicknesses from 0.8mm to 150mm, you get perfect surfaces for welding, smooth edge surface. It has medium heat input, excellent cutting speed.
Processes where heat is transferred to the base metal by means of a flame without melting the metal or removing some material. The flame performance is used to return the original shape to the parts that have been deformed by the effect of welding. Flame hardening is used to cause a surface hardening in a part. In flame forming, the part to be formed is heated at a certain point and external mechanical force is applied to obtain the desired shape.
